Darrell finds the greatest satisfaction in telling clients that their hard work has paid off and they can achieve their financial goals. His passion for helping people reach their goals, especially through complex and challenging issues, was sparked by a conversation with a friend regarding their own uncertainty about being able to retire someday. He began researching the planning process and discovered a love for solving the retirement puzzle.
With a background as an IT manager and financial advisor, Darrell brings a unique blend of technical and financial expertise to his role. Clients appreciate his ability to simplify and make complex data understandable, a skill honed over years of analyzing intricate data sets. He focuses on making sense of numbers and factors, ensuring clients clearly understand their financial situations.
Darrell holds a Bachelor of Science in computer systems and information systems and a master’s in management information systems from Friends University. He holds life and annuity insurance licenses and has passed the Series 7 and 66 securities exams, allowing him to offer insurance and investment products and services.
When not helping clients, Darrell and his wife, Pam, enjoy spending time with their three grown children, Bryan, Heather and Krys, and granddaughter. Their family also includes their beloved dogs, Apollo and Chunckie, and cats, Lucy and Bob. In his free time, Darrell enjoys fishing, hunting, backpacking, woodworking and scuba diving.
